Who am I?
William Asad Letterlough, also known as PurP or squiddieboy squiddie squidderson, created the brand .terrain as a vehicle to tell his story. Raised in Queens, New York by a Buddhist Panamanian-born mom and Muslim American-born father William was always entrenched in various cultures and beliefs which shaped his own unique view and sensibilities about the world. As a youth, William took to early hip hop fashion from Pharrell and Kanye West, music like Al Green and The Meters, and watching mostly cartoons and anime from all era's. Now at 27, William creates with the goal of blending his interests, philosophies, and hopes for the future into timeless, unique pieces that grow with him as a designer.

.terrain is an exploration or natures surface --- reinterpreting the textures, tones, and imperfections of the earth through denim and reimagined vintage pieces. Inspired by Japanese fabrication techniques and Panamanian embroideries, .terrain interprets global fashion to fit the context of New York City's fast-paced lifestyle.
